The World’s Most Foolish Traveler
By Natsuki Takaya
Once upon a time, there was this foolish traveler who had to go on a very long journey. Why was he foolish? Simply because he was fooled by everyone he met. Everywhere he ventured people made up stories with all sorts of tragedies to tell him, and the traveler fell for every one of them. Pretty soon, he had given away his money, his clothes, and even his shoes have been cheated away from him.
But the foolish traveler was always glad to help and he always told people the same thing. He said, “I wish you happiness.” [x]

Human beings are funny. They long to be with the person they love but refuse to admit openly. Some are afraid to show even the slightest sign of affection because of fear. But one thing about human beings that puzzles me the most is their conscious effort to be connected with the object of their affection even if it kills them slowly inside.
